These forums aren't chatrooms, so unfortunately, random chat topics are not allowed, each topic has to have a point of discussion. Here is a guide to spam, and what not to post. c:
Any spam found may result in warnings, and continuing to spam may result in bans. So before posting or creating a topic, I suggest you take a quick read through this guide to spam, as we do not want to keep banning people all the time. c:
Spam
• Random chat threads
As mentioned above, random chat topics are not allowed.
• Chain mail
Chain mail such as "If you repost this you will find a pink iphone under your pillow!" is spam.
• Advertising
We have certain topics for advertising certain things, you may use them for advertising what they say you can, but please do not advertise stuff that isn't what the boards say you can.
• Multiple threads/posts for the same thing
Example: posting a thread that says "LPS WISHLIST!" 5 times.
•Double posting
Double posting is where you post after yourself, please wait for someone to reply after you before posting on a topic again.
• Posting threads in the wrong board
Example: posting an LPS Trade Thread in the General LPS Chat board.
• Excessively bumping
Bumping a thread when nit has not fallen off of the first page of the board is spam. Also do not bump threads that are not needed to be bumped, such as forum games.
• Replying to spam
Please report all spam you see, do not reply to it, as this just creates even more spam!
Spamming also includes unnecessary things to an acceptable post such as:
• Excessive punctuation
Example: !!!!!!!!!!!?!??!!!!!!!!!!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!
• Excessive smilies
Example: 
• Large amounts of pointless writing
Example: ''Bored bored bored...'' 100 times in 1 post.
Spam in private messages
Yes, there is such thing as spam in private messages as well!
• Pointless messages
Messages such as ''lol'' or ''I ate pasta'' are pointless.
• Sending repeated messages
Such as ''Hi have you seen my thread?'', ''Are you commenting on it?'' ''Hurry up comment I'm waiting'', this can also be considered as harassment.
• Most of the other spam rules
Most of the other spam rules mentioned first are also considered spam in PM's
